Chapter History
Founding
The Beta Pi chapter was founded by Jon Pinto (AB), with the charter being received at the 1993 National Convention, which took place in Baltimore, hosted by the Alpha Beta Chapter.
Early Years
The Active Chapter
The current chapter consists of members from the Phi, Chi, Psi, Omega, Alpha Alpha, and Alpha Beta classes.
What's Unique About Our Chapter?
Right now we have a few positions that most other chapters do not have. We have two historians, and we also have a 3-person HR committee. Our HR committee is charged with the responsibility of strengthening our brotherhood through events, and other means!
We have four alumni advisors, because the four people we elected as alumni advisors have a very strong desire to be involved with our chapter and keep in touch! Our alumni chairs send out a weekly newsletter to the brothers and keep us up to date on all their happenings!
When IS Chapter?
Chapter meets weekly at 7 PM, unless otherwise noted in the weekly minutes. E-Board usually meets at 6, and Committees usually meet at 6:30. Mandatory events are Bid Night, Pinning, Bylaw Night, and Induction.

The Beta Pi chapter changed their constitution in Spring 2008, as we felt it would be in the best interest of our chapter to expand our alumni involvement, and have four alumni advisers instead of two.
