Brandi decided to attend Louisiana State University after graduating from Beau Chene High School in 2007. She was very involved in her high school, but decided to get adjusted to college before joining any organizations. During her second semester at LSU, in the spring of 2008, Brandi received a rush invitation e-mail and decided to attend the info night for Phi Sigma Pi. She instantly knew that Phi Sigma Pi was the type of organization she was looking for, and ended up getting a bid to become an initate.
