New York Metro Area Alumni Chapter (Founded May 12, 2001) is located in New York City. The chapter was founded by Chapter alumna Alex Spirer, alumna ____, and alumna ______. NYMAAC is a member of the Northeast Region.

NYMAAC
The New York Metropolitan Area Alumni Chapter is more commonly known as NYMAAC. The chapter encompasses New York City, northern New Jersey, Westchester and Long Island. NYMAAC currently has 22 paid members, but caters to a much larger group of brothers in the NY Metro area. 68 brothers are currently signed up for our listserv ([1]).

Chapter Events & Activities
Happy Hour
NYMAAC hosts a happy hour once a month at various locations throughout Manhattan. September's Happy Hour is Thursday, 9/20 at Fat Cat (7:00 pm). Fat Cat is located at 75 Christopher Street just west of 7th Avenue.
Page and Popcorn
Page and Popcorn is a book and movie club that typically meets every other month. November's book and movie is The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. December's selection is The Golden Compass, by Philip Pullman. Both viewing/discussion dates are TBD.
