NYMAAC
The New York Metropolitan Area Alumni Chapter is more commonly known as NYMAAC. The chapter encompasses New York City, northern New Jersey, Westchester and Long Island. NYMAAC currently has 22 paid members, but caters to a much larger group of brothers in the NY Metro area. 68 brothers are currently signed up for our listserv ([1]).

MONTHLY EVENTS
Happy Hour
NYMAAC hosts a happy hour once a month at various bars, pubs, and clubs in Manhattan. Help us kick off the new year on Thursday, January 10th, 7:00 pm at the Pour House (64 Third Ave, between 11th and 12th Streets).
The Page and Popcorn
The Page and Popcorn is our popular book and movie club (read the book then see the movie) that typically meets every other month. January's book and movie is The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. We'll be meeting at Chelsea Cinema (23rd Street and 8th Avenue) around 2:00 pm for a 2:45 pm showing on January 20th.

E-board Meetings
The NYMAAC E-Board meets monthly at our members' offices to discuss upcoming events, development and recruitment. Have some ideas? Share them! Everyone is welcome to attend, or shoot us an email and let us know your thoughts.
This month's meeting: Wednesday, 1/9 at 7:00 pm Our meeting will be 375 Hudson Street (the south-west corner of Houston and Hudson).
From the 1 Train: Get out at the Houston St. Stop Head west on Houston St. for one block Building is on the south-west corner of that intersection, big tiered grey building
From the A,B,C,D,E,F,V Trains: Get out at the West 4th Street Stop Walk south on 6th Avenue (essentially 3 blocks) Take a right on Houston St. Walk west two blocks
OCTOBER EVENTS
Wednesday, 10/10 at 8:00 pm: People's Improv Theatre Mid-week often incurs frustrations from work, exhaustion from work, and the need for a break from work. Why not join your bros for an evening of free improv at the People's Improv Theatre? The PIT is located on 29th Street between 7th and 6th Ave and is host to some of the best improv groups in the city. Come grab a beer and get some much needed laughs to fuel you through the rest of the week. Contact Allison Park (allisonkpark@yahoo.com) if you're game.
Saturday, 10/13: Apple Picking at Mackey's Orchard Fall's here, so what better way to spend it than with apple-picking and wine tasting! Join us at Mackey's Orchard for delicious home-baked goods and plenty of crisp delicious apples. We'll follow that with the Harvest Weekend at Four Sisters Winery. They have hayrides to the pumpkin patch, pick-your-own pumpkins and apples, wine tasting and tours, fresh-baked goods, and a corn maze. Friday-Sunday, 10/19-21: Atlantic City Weekend Brothers from the Delaware Valley Alumni Chapter are joining up with NYMAAC for a weekend of fun down in Atlantic City. Join us for a day or for the whole weekend, but it promises to be one heck of a ride! Contact Alex Spirer (aspirer490@aol.com) for details on the hotel and travel.
Wednesday, 10/31 (time TBD): Village Halloween Parade It's time again for the Village Halloween Parade and we're taking the opportunity to get dressed up and go crazy. And keep an eye out for several NYMAAC members marching. Meet up times and locations will be announced closer to the date.
