Come to the Riverbank State Park for $10 skating ($5 admission, $5 skating fee). New York Metro Area Alumni Chapter (Founded May 12, 2001) is located in New York City. The chapter was founded by Chapter alumna Alex Spirer, alumna ____, and alumna ______. NYMAAC is a member of the Northeast Region.

NYMAAC

The New York Metropolitan Area Alumni Chapter is more commonly known as NYMAAC. The chapter encompasses New York City, northern New Jersey, Westchester and Long Island. NYMAAC currently has 22 paid members, but caters to a much larger group of brothers in the NY Metro area. 68 brothers are currently signed up for our listserv ([1]).

MONTHLY EVENTS

Happy Hour

NYMAAC hosts a happy hour once a month at various bars, pubs, and clubs in Manhattan. Help us kick off the new year on Thursday, January 10th, 7:00 pm at the Pour House (64 Third Ave, between 11th and 12th Streets).

The Page and Popcorn

The Page and Popcorn is our popular book and movie club (read the book then see the movie) that typically meets every other month. January's book and movie is The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. We'll be meeting at Chelsea Cinema (23rd Street and 8th Avenue) around 2:00 pm for a 2:45 pm showing on January 20th.

E-board Meetings

The NYMAAC E-Board meets monthly at our members' offices to discuss upcoming events, development and recruitment. Have some ideas? Share them! Everyone is welcome to attend, or shoot us an email and let us know your thoughts.

This month's meeting: Wednesday, 1/9 at 7:00 pm Our meeting will be 375 Hudson Street (the south-west corner of Houston and Hudson).

From the 1 Train: Get out at the Houston St. stop; Head west on Houston St. for one block; Building is on the south-west corner of that intersection

From the A,B,C,D,E,F,V Trains: Get out at the West 4th Street Stop; Walk south on 6th Avenue for three blocks; Take a right on Houston St. and walk west two blocks
