New York Metro Area Alumni Chapter (Founded May 12, 2001) is located in New York City. The chapter was founded by Chapter alumna Alex Spirer, alumna ____, and alumna ______. NYMAAC is a member of the Northeast Region.

Chapter Events & Activities
Happy Hour
NYMAAC hosts a happy hour once a month at various locations throughout Manhattan. September's Happy Hour is Thursday, 9/20 at Fat Cat (7:00 pm). Fat Cat is located at 75 Christopher Street just west of 7th Avenue.
Page and Popcorn
Page and Popcorn is a book and movie club that meets every other month. November's book and movie is The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. December's selection is The Golden Compass, by Philip Pullman. Both viewing/discussion dates are TBD.
