It was only after studying abroad in Paris for her 3rd year in college, when Shannon was looking forward to returning to Georgia Tech's campus and getting re-involved in student life that she realized what her collegiate life had been missing. Once back on campus she met up with one of her old roommates who told her that she should join Phi Sigma Pi because it was a great organization full of interesting people. Through spending time with the Brothers and participating in the rush events Shannon decided to pledge and on November 6th, 2009 she was inducted as Epsilon Theta's 68th brother. | |

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Phi Sigma Pi came to campus during Shannon's freshman year; however, despite two roommates who were Brothers (Sarah Gammon and Kimberly Holland) it took 3 more years for Shannon to decide to join. It was only after studying abroad in Paris for her 3rd year in college, when Shannon was looking forward to returning to Georgia Tech's campus and getting re-involved in student life that she realized what her collegiate life had been missing.
