Dorothy Torchia, wife of Joseph Torchia, dies. The National Headquarters of Phi Sigma Pi receives a gift of $10,000 from their estate. This gift has the distinction of being the first recorded bequest ever received by the fraternity.

April 3 - Jonah Goodman elected to the position of National President by National Council following the resignation of Colleen Dougherty
April 16 - Brothers across the country join the nation in mourning the deadliest mass shooting in US History that leaves 33 dead at Virginia Tech, including Alpha Rho Chapter initiate Erin Peterson and Reema Samaha, sister of Alpha Rho Alumnus Omar Samaha
April 23 - Epsilon Theta Chapter founded at Georgia Tech
April 27 - Epsilon Kappa Chapter founded at Wentworth Institute of Technology

August 8 - Alpha Tau Chapter establishes a Chapter Endowment Fund
August 9-12 - 2007 National Convention is held in New Orleans, Louisiana. For the first time, the event is combined with the Grand Chapter Conference. Gamma Theta Chapter receives the only Joseph Torchia Outstanding Chapter Award. Distinguished Service Keys presented to John Finnegan and Carlye Buchanan, CPA. The Jeffrey and Kim Johnson Existence and Expansion Endowment Fund is established.

October 5-7 - Capital Chapter holds its annual "Meet Me in DC" Weekend; Gamma Chi Chapter hosts Boos and Bros
October 20 - Alpha Eta Chapter holds its annual Hope Bowl Flag Football Tournament
October 26-28 - Alpha Rho Chapter & Beta Delta Chapter hold their annual shared Founder's Weekend Celebration in Blacksburg, Virginia
October 27 - Alpha Rho Chapter charters the first chapter level Endowment Fund with the Phi Sigma Pi Foundation

November 2-4 - Alpha Lambda Chapter & Gamma Xi Chapter co-host Philly Cup
November 26 - Epsilon Lambda Chapter founded at Minnesota State University - Mankato
November 28 - Epsilon Mu Chapter founded at University of Texas - San Antonio
