SAAC began the new year with a service event to honor the victims at Sandy Hook Elementary schoolThe PTA at the school called out for individuals to mail in snowflakes to create a winter wonderland for the students when they returned from the holiday break.  Because of the overwhelming response to the project, the PTA closed snowflake admissions.  SAAC members still made snowflakes and will display them at the university located in Johnson City as a showing of solidarity.
