Chapter Events & Activities
The chapter has had several successful events, including many game nights and rush events. Rush events in the fall of 2009, including game nights and a volleyball match, drew two new members for the year. The rush events in 2010 successfully drew in five prospective members, one of whom decided to withdraw from the initiate program only due to time constraints. The rush events included Brother Speed Dating, Ice Skating and an afternoon of impromptu games. In the spring of 2009, the chapter took a scholarship event to the John Ball Zoo where they had a great day learning about the animals and bonding! The chapter began the annual Backpack Attack to gather school supplies for donations for our national philanthropy, Teach for America. The chapter plans to hold this service event annually, hopefully with increasing results every year.
