Founding
The Epsilon Chi Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi was founded at North Georgia College and State University in the fall of 2009. Michael Galanis, the first president, is the person responsible for first introducing Phi Sigma Pi to the campus. After recruiting several people interested in an honors fraternity, the membership training process began. Although it was an unusually small group of 13, the group managed to complete all requirements to become that of an official chapter. The induction of the founding 13 occurred on December 2nd, 2009, the date that is now recognized as the official birthday of the Epsilon Chi Chapter.
