Chapter Events & Activities

GET SLAM'D

This event is held every March and brothers from all around the country come to Gainesville for the weekend. GET SLAM'D stands for Gamma Epsilon Teaches Scholarship, Leadership And Motivational Development.

Founder's Weekend

Gamma Epsilon celebrates the Chapter's founding with a Founder's Day dinner and party. This event started in 2003, following an idea by Historian Colleen Cole. At this event, Brothers each bring an item for a potluck dinner. Brothers enjoy a meal together, the Historian shares stories from years past, and Brothers and Alumni give their testimonials on what the Brotherhood has meant to them, and what they have learned during their time as an active Brother. The event culminates with the showing of the annual Founder's Day video, in which Brothers share things like their favorite memorys or funny stories, and then wish the chapter a happy birthday. Following the dinner, Brothers attend the annual Founder's Day celebration.
