Gamma Theta’s 16th Annual Mardi Gras Bash
“Greek Toga Fest”

The Gamma Theta Chapter at LSU is pleased to announce its 13th Annual Mardi Gras Bash on February 20-22nd, 2009. The fun-filled weekend will kick off Friday night with an opportunity to get a few laughs and hang out while enjoying Baton Rouge’s nightlife with your Brothers!! The “Greek Toga Party” will be held Friday night for our visitors to experience the majestic feeling of Mardi Gras that has been recreated and passed on for centuries.  Saturday morning will open with a king cake breakfast before we hop on chartered buses to experience Mardi Gras in full effect in New Orleans. You will dance with the “second-line” on Bourbon Street, shout “Throw Me Somethin’, Mister!” in the French Quarter, and laugh with the parading krewes before kissing the extravaganza good-bye late at night. Gamma Theta would also be pleased to house you, but on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Avery Cootes for details. Don’t forget to book your flight to Baton Rouge!  Each chapter is responsible for making reservations as soon as possible. Don’t miss out on this once in a college life opportunity to see Mardi Gras with many of your fellow Brothers from across the nation. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email Avery Cootes.
