Gamma Pi Chapter
Gamma Pi Chapter (Founded 18 March 1997) is located at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. The Chapter was founded by Sharon D. Lilly Adedeji, Alumna of Alpha Beta Chapter, and is a member of the Capitol Region.

Chapter History
Founding
The Gamma Pi Chapter at Towson University was founded on March 18, 1997 by Sharon D. Lilly Adedeji.
Early Years
There have been 25 initiate classes since Gamma Pi's founding.
The initiate classes and their names are as follows:
Alpha Bits, Beta Fish, Gamma Rays, Delta Ducks, Epsilon Raptors, Zeta Penguins, Eta Elephants, Theta Turtles, Iota Money, Krazy Kappas, Lambda Lambs, Mu Monkeys, Naked Nu Nuzzles, Xi-berian Tigers, Omicron Ovaries, Pi Napples, Rho Busts (formerly the Rho Mantics), Sigma Freuds, Tater Taus, Upsilon Gnomes, Foxy Phis, Kinky Chi Yaks, Psychic Psi Kicks, Alpha Alpha Dawgs, and Alpha Beta Barracudas.

Chapter Events & Activities
Founder's Weekend
Gamma Pi celebrates their Founder's Day every spring with a formal banquet. This year Gamma Pi is proud to celebrate their 12th anniversary with many ICR Brothers and Alumni. This year it will take place on Saturday April 4th.
Chapter Philanthropy
Gamma Pi's philanthropy has evolved over time to meet the needs of the chapter. Originally, Gamma Pi held a benefit concert every fall called "Dance for Breath for Cystic Fibrosis" which benefited the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. When the chapter changed its philanthropy to fighting lupus, the concert name was changed to "Band Together against Lupus" benefiting the Lupus Foundation of America. In 2008 the annual concert was changed to a comedy night called "Laugh out Lupus." Periodically the event fluctuates between the Fall and Spring semesters depending upon when the event will be a greater success. The next Band Together against Lupus will be held on Saturday April 18th, 2009 from 7-10pm at PAWS Cafe in Towson University's Student Union. All are encouraged to attend!
