Alpha Lambda Chapter (Founded 2 December 1990) is located at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The chapter was founded by Sigma alumnus Gregory Armstrong and is a member of the East Region.

Chapter History

Founding

Alpha Lambda Chapter was founded in 1990 after Sigma (Millersville University) Chapter Alumnus Gregory Armstrong began attending Temple University's law school. Greg was impressed with the Millersville Chapter and wanted Temple to have a chapter as well. Through much hard work, Greg persuaded the National Office to establish the Temple Chapter.

National chapter representatives came to Temple on November 18, 1990 to introduce students to Phi Sigma Pi. Over 150 students attended this first meeting. Soon after, on December 2, 1990, the first charter class of the Alpha Lambda chapter of Phi Sigma Pi was inducted.
